State trooper to motorcycle accident victim: Too Bad!
Not to mention that it took 3 calls to finally get a responsible 911 operator to respond. The trooper responded to the second call with "he shouldn't have been riding like that". Prick.A state trooper was suspended for 15 days without pay after he was recorded on a 911 tape saying "too bad" to a caller seeking help for a man injured in a motorcycle accident.
Connecticut state Trooper Robert Peasley's actions, according to state police, did not affect the response time of emergency responders. How do they figure?? None of the articles I've read mention anything about him dispatching emergency vehicles after his "too bad!" comment, so I'd say it certainly did affect the response time of emergency responders. Compounding the problem, the rider later died of injuries received in the accident.
