Bush Frightens Neighbors Intelligent Enough to be Critical of Him
In Bush's Shadow
"I think he's honest, and he tells you what he's thinking," said Randy Nutter, a card-carrying Republican visiting Crawford from Center Township, Penn.
Oh, so that's what that blank-faced look, accompanied by 5 or 10 seconds of nothing coming out of Shit-for-Brains' mouth in the middle of a sentence is. That's Geeduhhhbya telling you what's on his mind: not a goddamned thing.
"I think he tells you what he's going to do, and I think he then does it, and that's refreshing in a politician. I think he also does what he thinks is right rather than what is politically popular."
Proof POSITIVE that Republicans are IDIOTS!!! Okay, so maybe I'm painting all Republicans with the broad stroke of a single contemptuous brush. However...isn't this the basic theme amongst Repugs? Don't you hear this kind of thing all too often from people too lazy/stupid/"patriotic" to question the word of God -- I mean Bush. Bush said he'd bring dignity to the Office of President. He did NOT. He said he was for smaller government. His is the most bloated administration in US history and it's hemmoraging to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars a year. Bush said Saddam was an immanent threat, that he had WMD, that he was in cahoots with Al Queda…all lies. NOTHING that Bush has done was because it was the right thing to do. It's all been because was the politically popular (in other words either financially beneficial to himself or his corporate masters) thing to do.
Many refused to talk about their political beliefs, and anyone with anything critical to say about the president and his policies refused to go on the record.
What does that say about Bush's tactics? People are frightened to criticize Bush. Why?! Because Bush and his cronies are mean, spiteful, vengeful, fear mongers! They might as well be the mafia.
"I know what happened to the Dixie Chicks," said Ginger Roberson, a Crawford resident. "I'm not going to say anything bad about [Bush] because, you know, he might be kicking my butt."
Sounds more like a schoolyard bully than the President of the United States. Thanks, GeeDuhhhb for reducing the office of the President to the level of an eight year old boy with a big rock in his hand.
One resident said people are tired of being misquoted by the press and being made out to sound like "ignorant hicks."
Hey, you're the ones supporting the least intelligent, least successful, most dangerous pResident in U.S. history.
"Truthfully, I really don't think it makes a hootin' damn which one of them gets elected," said a customer at Spanos' Family Coffee Center who requested anonymity.
This wouldn't happen to be the same person who was afraid of sounding like a hick, would it??
He said he plans to vote for Bush in the next election, but in the end, the White House will go to one wealthy person or the other,...
Absolutely true.
...and partisan politics only impact very wealthy people.
Wrong. Partisan politics is only played by very wealthy people. It mostly affects the poor.
